Occupational Health Services
Gadsden Regional Medical Center’s Occupational Health Center partners with employers throughout northeast Alabama to offer workers the services they need to put workplace safety procedures and policies in place as well as maximize the health and wellness of their employees.
Occupational health services focus on preventive medicine and management of illness, injury or disability in the workplace. We help employers create a safer work environment with a focus on health education and injury prevention for employees.

Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. & 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Walk-ins are accepted in the morning until 11:30 a.m. and in the afternoon until 3:30 p.m. Located inside Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

- Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals
- Drug screening 5 and 10 panel and DOT 5 panel
- Employee physicals
- FIT testing
- Functional capacity evaluation
- OSHA annual review
- Pre-placement physicals
- Pulmonary function test
- Screening and diagnostic audiology
- TB skin test
- Referrals
- Focus on timely return to work
- Network of referral specialists who understand employer needs
- Occupational health providers to coordinate care for workers
- Referrals for physical and/or occupational therapy or other specialists
- Timely reporting of outcomes of drug/alcohol tests
- Work status called in to your office following an employee's visit
