Behavioral Health Services
At Gadsden Regional Medical Center, we recognize that mental health is as important to our quality of life as physical health. That is why we offer an individualized approach to meeting the mental and behavioral health care needs of the community and surrounding areas. The clinically prepared intake coordinators at Gadsden Regional Medical Center offer ease of access and timely disposition for all referrals. Community outreach services are also available.
Services:
Admission to the Inpatient Adult and Geriatric Care Units
A staff of clinically prepared intake coordinators is available to the emergency department and medical staff twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. These trained professionals gather certain health information for a determination by the medical director for appropriate admission, and to arrange alternative and appropriate referrals when needed. Emergencies should be handled by calling 911 or one of the crisis numbers listed on this webpage, or by visiting your nearest emergency department any time.
If you have any questions regarding admissions or community outreach services, please call (256) 413-6446 and speak with an intake coordinator or email GRMCPsychIntake@gadsdenregional.com. All calls are confidential.
