Seahorn Named Chief Nursing Officer at Gadsden Regional

Gadsden, Ala. – Martha Seahorn has spent more than 25 years in nursing administration and will continue her career at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, where she will serve as chief nursing officer.
Seahorn’s first day on the job at the 346-bed facility was March 27. Seahorn succeeds Donna Nicholson, who is now serving as the hospital’s chief quality officer after an 8-year stint as CNO.
Previously, Seahorn served as chief nursing officer at Stringfellow Memorial, Shelby Baptist Medical Center and WellStar Douglas Hospital in Georgia.
A graduate of Emma Sansom High School, Seahorn received her bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Jacksonville State and holds a master’s in nursing from Kennesaw State.
She and her husband, David, have two children and two grandchildren.
The Seahorns reside in Pell City.
