Richards Named Assistant Chief Nursing Officer

GADSDEN, ALABAMA, April 15, 2022— Gadsden Regional Medical Center announced Darci Richards, RN, has been promoted to assistant chief nursing officer effective April 10, 2022.

Darci began her career at Gadsden Regional in May 2021. She most recently served as the director of 9th floor and dialysis, and she has also served as the interim director of the 7th floor. Before joining the team at Gadsden Regional, Darci served as the chief clinical officer of Curahealth Hospital at Long Term Acute Care in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

“Darci will be an outstanding addition to our administrative team,” said Traci Howard, chief nursing officer at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. “We are confident in her ability to provide leadership to our nursing colleagues and enhance our mission in providing quality care for our patients and our community.”

Darci received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Western Governors University and is currently working toward an MBA in healthcare. She and her husband live in Albertville with their three daughters.
