Gadsden Regional Medical Center Names New CEO

GADSDEN, Alabama, November 23, 2020 – Gadsden Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Justin Bryant has been appointed as chief executive officer, effective November 23, 2020. Bryant has served as interim chief executive officer at Gadsden Regional since August 2020.

Bryant most recently served as chief operating officer at Grandview Medical Center, a 402-bed hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, where he has played a key role in the growth of the hospital and its affiliated clinics. Under his leadership, Grandview has sustained growth and improvement across numerous service lines, key metrics and key financial indicators. Additionally, he has helped Grandview achieve and maintain high HCAHPs ratings and other patient experience measures, has led major capital and operational projects for growth and expansion, and has been instrumental in the implementation of various clinical and non-clinical technology solutions.

Bryant earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and his Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
