Gadsden Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program Announces New Faculty Member Aisha Wright, MD

GADSDEN, ALABAMA, April 11, 2022— Gadsden Regional Medical Center's family medicine residency program is pleased to announce Aisha Wright, M.D., has joined as a faculty member and family medicine provider/obstetrician. Dr. Wright joins fellow faculty members Shawn Morehead, M.D., Catherine Scarbrough, M.D., Bradley Green, M.D., and Anna Worth, M.D.

Dr. Wright joins the GRMC medical staff from Chicago, Illinois, where she was an attending physician for the Cook County Health and Hospital System. Dr. Wright was also a faculty member in the department of family medicine. Dr. Wright received her bachelor’s degree from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, and her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springville, Illinois. She completed her residency at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
