Biography
Tapan Abrol, M.D., is the chief of neurology, medical director of the stroke center and director of neurodiagnostics at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He also serves as clinical faculty at ACOM and VCOM medical schools.
He completed his medical degree from ASCOMS J and K in India in 2011. Dr. Abrol then did a short research internship in the neuroradiology department at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He completed his residency in internal medicine and neurology from the University of Louisville in Kentucky and completed his fellowship training in movement disorders at Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Abrol resides in Gadsden. In his spare time he likes to read fiction and philosophy. He also spends his off time traveling, cooking and running.
